Possible states are:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Offline</strong> <img alt=\"Sync offline icon\" src=\"https://assets.postman.com/postman-docs/icon-sync-offline.jpg\" width=\"16px\" style=\"vertical-align:middle;margin-bottom:5px\"> means that you aren't connected to the Postman servers. This means that either your computer isn't connected to the internet or you aren't signed in to Postman.</p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>If you are offline, you will be in the <em>Scratch Pad</em>, which is a space where you can work locally without a connection or login to Postman. The work that you do in the Scratch Pad won't be synced to Postman, but you can export it and import it into a workspace later. For more information, see <a href=\"/static-docs/Postman/docs/getting-started/using-scratch-pad/\">Using the Scratch Pad</a>.</p>\n<img alt=\"Offline state\" src=\"https://assets.postman.com/postman-docs/scratch-pad-logged-out-v9.12.jpg\" width=\"250px\" />\n</blockquote>\n</li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Connecting</strong> <img alt=\"Sync connecting icon\" src=\"https://assets.postman.com/postman-docs/icon-sync-connecting.jpg\" width=\"16px\" style=\"vertical-align:middle;margin-bottom:5px\"> means the app is trying to connect to the Postman servers. You may also see this status if your connection drops and then reconnects.</p>\n</li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Online</strong> <img alt=\"Sync online icon\" src=\"https://assets.postman.com/postman-docs/icon-sync-online.jpg\" width=\"16px\" style=\"vertical-align:middle;margin-bottom:5px\"> means that you are connected to the Postman servers and your work is either in the process of syncing or is already synced.</p>\n</li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Error</strong> <img alt=\"Sync connection error icon\" src=\"https://assets.postman.com/postman-docs/icon-sync-connection-error.jpg\" width=\"16px\" style=\"vertical-align:middle;margin-bottom:5px\"> means there was a syncing error while connecting to Postman. Hover over the cloud icon to see detailed information on the error.</p>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<blockquote>\n<p>You may occasionally experience sync conflicts between Postman and its servers, particularly when you work as part of a team.
