    "result": {"data":{"markdownRemark":{"html":"<p>Postman provides a variety of views and controls to manage your API projects.</p>\n<p><a href=\"https://assets.postman.com/postman-docs/app-overview-v9.5.jpg\"><img src=\"https://assets.postman.com/postman-docs/app-overview-v9.5.jpg\" alt=\"Postman app\"></a></p>\n<p>The Postman UI includes the following components:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>The left sidebar provides access to your <a href=\"/static-docs/Postman/docs/getting-started/creating-the-first-collection/\">collections</a>, <a href=\"/static-docs/Postman/docs/designing-and-developing-your-api/creating-an-api/\">APIs</a>, <a href=\"/static-docs/Postman/docs/sending-requests/managing-environments/#creating-environments\">environments</a>, <a href=\"/static-docs/Postman/docs/designing-and-developing-your-api/mocking-data/setting-up-mock/\">mock servers</a>, <a href=\"/static-docs/Postman/docs/running-collections/scheduling-collection-runs/\">monitors</a>, and request <a href=\"#history\">history</a>.</li>\n<li>The header allows you to create workspaces, access reports, explore the public API network, <a href=\"#universal-search\">search</a> within Postman, view sync status and notifications, move and invite collaborators to workspaces, capture requests and cookies, and access your settings, account, and <a href=\"/static-docs/Postman/docs/administration/buying/\">Postman plan</a>.</li>\n<li>The center area is where you build and work with requests.</li>\n<li>The status bar along the bottom allows you to show/hide the sidebar, <a href=\"#find-and-replace\">find and replace</a>, and open the <a href=\"/static-docs/Postman/docs/sending-requests/troubleshooting-api-requests/\">console</a> on the left. You can also change the scope of your search to <strong>Workspaces</strong>, <strong>Collections</strong>, <strong>APIs</strong>, or <strong>Teams</strong>.</p>\n<p><img src=\"https://assets.postman.com/postman-docs/change-scope-for-universal-search-v9.5.jpg\" alt=\"Changing scope for universal search\"></p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>For signed-in users, the default search scope on workspaces is Team. On <a href=\"https://www.postman.com/explore\">explore</a>, the default is Public API Network. For signed-out users, the results only include public resources and don't contain private data.</p>\n</blockquote>\n<p>If you don't find what you are looking for in the list of results, select <strong>Search all workspaces, collections, APIs and teams</strong> and you can find all the results in one page.</p>\n<img alt=\"Search all\" src =\"https://assets.postman.com/postman-docs/search-all-workspaces-collections-and-teams-v9.5.jpg\"/>\n<p>The left navigation on the <strong>Search results</strong> page lists the scope and entity type. You can change these options to further filter your results.</p>\n<img alt=\"Universal search results page\" src =\"https://assets.postman.com/postman-docs/universal-search-results-page-v8.jpg\"/>\n<p>You can sort results using <strong>Sort by</strong> on the right by selecting <em>Most relevant</em> (default), <em>Most views</em>, or <em>Most recent</em>.</p>\n<img alt=\"Search results sort\" src =\"https://assets.postman.com/postman-docs/search-result-sort-by-v8.jpg\"/>\n<p>Depending on the entity type, the search results contain different information:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>For workspaces, the search result contains the workspace type, summary, who published it, and when was it published.</li>\n<li>For collections, the search result contains the workspace type, whether the collection is a fork or not, who published it, and when was it published.</li>\n<li>For APIs, the search result contains the name and summary of the API, the API's owner (either an individual user or a team), and the type of workspace.</li>\n<li>For teams, the search result contains the name and summary of the team. If you're signed into a Postman account, your history syncs across your devices.</p>\n<img alt=\"History Request\" src=\"https://assets.postman.com/postman-docs/history-request-v8.jpg\" width=\"400px\"/>\n<p>Select a request to open it again. Select <strong>+</strong> to save the request to a collection. Toggle <strong>Save Responses</strong> to save request responses so that you can view what was returned by a request when you open it from your history.</p>\n<p>The history also includes the collection runs executed. These remain as the summarized version of the run and aren't logged as single requests. The <strong>Save Responses</strong> option can't be used with requests from collection runner.</p>\n<p>The <strong>View more actions</strong> menu allows you to save, monitor, document, or mock a request. Use the delete (trash icon) or <strong>Clear all</strong> options to remove requests from your history. When the tab is in preview mode, it displays in italics.</p>\n<p>You can set whether Postman opens requests in new tabs. Select the gear icon <img alt=\"Settings icon\" src=\"https://assets.postman.com/postman-docs/icon-gear-outline-v9.jpg\" width=\"18px\" style=\"vertical-align:middle;margin-bottom:5px\"> to open <strong>Settings</strong>. To rearrange your open tabs, select and drag them in the desired order.</p>\n<p>To manage your open tabs or to access recently closed tabs, select the three dots <img alt=\"Three dots icon\" src=\"https://assets.postman.com/postman-docs/icon-three-dots-v9.jpg\" width=\"18px\" style=\"vertical-align:middle;margin-bottom:5px\"> to open a menu with action options:</p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Recently Closed Tabs</strong>: Shows you tabs that you closed recently. Select one to reopen it.</li>\n<li><strong>Duplicate Selected Tab</strong>: <em>(Desktop app only.)</em> Duplicates the current tab. This does not create a copy of the request, so when you duplicate a tab any edits you make are reflected in the original request.</li>\n<li><strong>Close Selected Tab</strong>: Closes the current tab. If the tab contains unsaved changes, Postman will ask if you want to save before closing.</li>\n<li><strong>Force Close Selected Tab</strong>: Closes the current tab without saving any changes.</li>\n<li><strong>Close All but Selected Tab</strong>: Closes all tabs except the one you are currently working in.</li>\n<li><strong>Close All Tabs</strong>: Closes all tabs. If any tabs contain unsaved changes, Postman will ask if you want to save before closing.</li>\n<li><strong>Force Close All Tabs</strong>: Closes all tabs without saving any changes.</li>\n</ul>\n<img alt=\"Manage tabs using the actions menu\" src=\"https://assets.postman.com/postman-docs/manage-tabs.jpg\" width=\"300px\"/>\n<p>You can also manage your open tabs or open a new tab by right-clicking on an existing tab:</p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>New Request</strong>: <em>(Postman for Web only.)</em> Opens a new tab.</li>\n<li><strong>Duplicate Tab</strong>: <em>(Desktop app only.)</em> Duplicates the current tab. Under <strong>Requests</strong>, use the toggle next to <strong>Always ask when closing unsaved tabs</strong> to turn this option on or off.</p>\n</blockquote>\n<p>If you have a lot of tabs open, they might overflow the area of the tab bar. Select <img alt=\"Save icon\" src=\"https://assets.postman.com/postman-docs/icon-save.jpg\" width=\"16px\" style=\"vertical-align:middle;margin-bottom:5px\"> <strong>Save</strong> to save the changes.
